Our attractive village of Djerba La Douce is surrounded by a large bay, just 25km (15 miles) from the capital of Djerba, Houmt Souk. The village is divided into various sections, dotted with palm and date trees. The "Menzels" (bungalows) are designed in the traditional blue and white style of the island's architecture. The hotel complex (with the "Calypso" and "Aziza" hotels) is where you will find the majority of the restaurants and the plush fitness center. A large tennis center offers a total of 20 courts (8 floodlit) and welcomes players of all levels. Keen golfers can play a round or two of golf at the nearby 27 hole "Djerba Golf" course (Handicap required, extra cost) and watersports enthusiasts can enjoy the sailing, windsurfing and kayaking.
