DATE : Open from July 3 to August 28. Ideal for artlovers and mountain-sports enthusiasts, Flaine is a ski resort like no other. Architecture, art and snow form the magic trio that have made Flaine a legend. Until 1959, this quiet valley with its north-facing slopes and southern plateaux was visited only by sheep, shepherds and ramblers. In 1967, thanks to the efforts of ski champion Emile Allais and the talent of architect Marcel Breuer, the first skiers discovered the slopes of Flaine, the first ski resort to be declared a conservation area. Since then, Flaine's art collection has been enriched with paintings by Picasso, Vasarely, and Dubuffet, among many others. In this resort that combines all the joys of mountain life, the Club village welcomes you and your children (from four months upward) to a superb, unspoiled site.
