DATE : Open from May 13to September 23 Our village of Foca is set on the unspoilt Aegean coast of Turkey, with its wild, rugged creeks and coves. Bungalows of authentic style nestle amidst silver olive groves and cypress trees and an Olympic size pool is set at the centre of the village. Foca is an excellent choice for advanced windsurfers. Strong coastal winds create challenging conditions. Other water sports include sailing, snorkelling and kayaking, as well as boat trips into the azure waters of the Aegean. Land sports on the agenda include tennis (9 courts), with a practice wall, archery, volleyball and keepfit classes. Children are welcome from 4 years old this season at Foca where the Children's Club GO's will provide a variety of activities, games and entertainment for children of all ages. Parents can of course then fully enjoy their holiday in the knowledge that their little ones are having a great time. Take time out of village life with our excursions team (extra cost) and explore this ancient coast of Ionia, a crucible of western civilization which boasts so many historical sites. Visit Izmir, birthplace of Homer, the Roman city of Ephesus and the ruins of the great city of Pergamum.
