Our comfortable village of Hammamet is to be found in the Cap Bon region of Tunisia which stretches between the Gulf of Tunis and the Gulf of Hammamet on the northeastern coast of Tunisia.
Set in a large bay, 4km (2 miles) from the town of Hammamet, this white and blue village of Moorish style extends along a beach of fine white sand, bordered by eucalyptus trees.
The vast 2000sq.m swimming pool, at the center of the village, is ideal for farniente.
Children are welcome at Hammamet from age 4 and the children's clubs arrange a multitude of activities for all ages. Parents in the meantime can become adults again and generally relax in the knowledge that their offspring are being well looked after.
Keen golfers can improve their swing at the golf practice in the village, while handicap players can enjoy a round at either or both of the 18-hole or 45-hole courses close to the village (extra cost).
Visit nearby Nabeul which maintains the old traditions in its manufacture of pottery, fine ceramics and perfume (from local orange and jasmine blossoms), lace and leatherwork.
