Our village of Les Almadies is set in the midst of a vast palm plantation, overlooking a small beach on the Atlantic coast of Senegal, only 20mins from the bustling, colourful capital, Dakar.
Enjoy the water sports on the agenda here, which include sailing and snorkelling. Golfers can improve their technique on the putting green and at the driving range and handicap players can enjoy either the 9 hole golf course (only a 5 min walk away) or the 18 hole golf course (30 mins away).
The more adventurous can join a deep sea fishing trip (extra cost) in some of the most exceptional fishing waters of Senegal. Visit the Island of Gorée, Lake Retba - tinged pink by the surrounding dunes, take a pirogue trip along the bolongs of the Sine-Saloum or browse through the markets of Dakar.
