The lush hilly landscape - a brilliant backdrop to one of the most charming Pacific resorts - displays Tahitian-style cottages and two specialty restaurants in a rich garden setting by water's edge.
A top destination for scuba divers due to the abundance of exquisite marine life around the reef, the village hosts one of Club Med's top scuba schools with classes for all levels. Those with more experience will find exhilarating exploratory dives.
While the less daring can enjoy the amazing technicolored underwater spectaculars through the glass-bottomed boats cruising crystal-clear-waters. One can also snorkel, play tennis, volleyball, basketball, join keep-fit classes or simply hit the beach. Moorea. Captain Cook loved it - Gauguin was mad of it... after all, what's not to like ?

Transfers: Faaa, Papeete (PDT) 12 miles (20 Km) from Faaa to Moorea airport; 10 minutes flight plus 30 minute transfer.

Accommodations: You'll drift off to sleep beneath towering palms in a double-occupancy Tahitian bungalow, cooled by balmy breezes and ceiling fans. Each has a private bathroom with shower and hair dryer, and a relaxing terrace. Moorea has two room categories: beach bungalow and garden-view bungalow. Voltage: 220 (adapters and converters may be necessary). Surcharges for single- and double-occupancy room categories may vary (please inquire).
