Pompadour is set in the quiet and beautiful Limousin countryside of the Correze region of France and one of the best ways to experience this authentic corner of the world is to go horseriding and trekking through the woods, fields, villages and country lanes.
Horseriding (extra cost) is really the main attraction here, with three indoor schools (including two Olympic size), five arenas (including a show jumping ring), and a riding track, all within the grounds of the village itself. Lessons are available for all levels and disciplines and include walks, harnessing and even trick riding.
Pompadour is also an excellent choice for tennis enthusiasts offering 19 indoor courts, 3 outdoor courts, practice walls and extensive coaching throughout the day.
Families have not been forgotten either as Pompadour offers Children's Clubs welcoming little ones from 2 years old. Activities for children include swimming, BMX bikes and archery, not forgetting tennis and Pony Club courses (extra cost).
